Download WinRAR 3.70 beta 8

WinRAR can handle various archive formats, such as rar, zip, cab, arj, lzh, tar, gz, ace, uue, bz2, jar, iso, 7z and z. The archiver has a skinnable interface, support for Zip64 (unpack only) and multi-volume CAB files. RAR Labs has once again released a new beta version for the Windows platform. The version number has arrived at 3.70 beta 8 and includes the following changes:

Bug corrected:

• WinRAR shell extension did not work in Windows NT 4.0;
• when unpacking ZIP archives in command line mode WinRAR returned “write error” (numeric 5) code in situations when it should return “create error” (numeric 9).
