A new development house of Wine has been published with version number 3.15. Wine is an open source implementation of the Windows api and makes it possible to run DOS and Windows programs on Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris. A large group of developers contributes to Wine and it has been decided to release a new so-called development version every two weeks instead of waiting for a number of new functions to be completed. A stable edition appears a few times a year. The database with applications that work under Wine, with or without small adjustments, contains 25,795 titles at the time of writing.   • HID device support in Raw Input.
  • Many more new icons in Shell32
  • WinHTTP converted to use Windows Sockets
  • Syntax fixes in the command line interpreter
  • Various bug fixes .
