Download Wine 1.3.10

Spread the love

This weekend saw the return of Wine’s usual biweekly development build. Wine is an open source implementation of the Windows API. This makes it possible to run DOS and Windows programs on Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris, among others. Wine is contributed by a large group of developers and it has been decided to release a new so-called development version every two weeks, instead of waiting for a number of new functions to be ready. A stable edition is published a few times a year. The database with applications running under Wine, with or without some minor tweaks, contains 15,905 titles at the time of writing, which is 72 more than at the time of version 1.3.9.
