Where in the past you could almost set your clock to it and there was exactly two weeks between the releases of Wine, this time it took three weeks before a new build was released. Wine is an open source implementation of the Windows API. This makes it possible to run DOS and Windows programs on Linux, Freebsd and Mac OS X, among others. The database with applications running under Wine, contains 11,467 titles at the time of writing. Below you can find everything that has changed in version 1.1.6:

What’s new in this release:
