Download Wine 1.0 RC5

The fifth and probably last release candidate of version 1.0 of Wine has just been released. If the weather gods are with us, and no showstoppers are found, the final release will follow a few days later. As already known, Wine makes it possible to run DOS and Windows programs on Linux, Freebsd and Mac OS X, among others. Every two weeks a new version is released by the developers with all developments until then. That way the user community help with testing and troubleshooting. As we are used to from the previous release candidates, the changelog does not contain any new features, but it does contain the necessary bug fixes:
