PhoenixT has the announcement on the Wine site spotted from version 0.9.13. The new version is via this page from various mirror servers. Using Wine it is possible to run DOS and Windows programs on POSIX-based operating systems, including Linux and FreeBSD. Wine can run DOS and Windows applications by first loading them into a program loader and then comparing the Windows API calls to its Unix and X11 counterparts through its own libraries. Version 0.9.13 ships with a gazillion fixes in the Direct3D handling and a bunch of undocumented bug fixes:
