Microsoft has made a new version of Live Messenger available, according to the people of the Live-Messenger fan site. This is a minor bug fix release of the 8.1.0064 version released last week. The new version of Windows Live Messenger has version number 8.1.0066 beta and can be downloaded as an installation package by clicking here. Windows Live Messenger allows users to chat with each other and exchange files. It is also possible to see each other via the webcam – called ‘camming’ in the jargon – and you can call each other via the embedded Voice-over-IP software.
