Download WebCleaner 2.34

WebCleaner is an HTTP proxy with the possibility to apply filtering techniques. This makes it possible to compress documents with gzip, disable animated gifs, use SquidGuard blacklists and remove malicious html code. The management can be carried out with a clear web interface to adjust the settings of the proxy and the filters. Recently, the developer released version 2.34 with the following changes:

Version 2.34:

The HTML parser has better error recovery with missing attribute quotes. All HTML length attributes are checked for vadility and a minimum and maximum value to avoid certain overflow attacks. More HTML advertising filtering rules have been added.

Version 2.33:

Installation under Windows systems has been fixed. Conversion of PNG images to JPEG now works correctly. Incorrect handling of XHTML closing tags has been fixed. The program documentation has been updated and improved.
