Spread the love

VMware has released version 17.0.0 of its Workstation Pro virtualization software. With this program it is possible to create one or more virtual computers, on which a large number of different operating systems can be installed. That way they can be used side by side, as opposed to a dual boot setup where one OS or the other has to be chosen. VMware Workstation is available for Windows and Linux, and licenses start at about 195 euros and at the moment there is a 30% discount. New in version 17 includes a virtual TPM 2.0 module, which enables support for Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022. Also, virtual machines can now start automatically when the guest machine starts and there is support for OpenGL 4.3 and Windows Display Driver Model 1.2.
