Today the second beta release of vLite 1.1 came out. With this program it is possible to customize a Windows Vista installation DVD to your own taste. For example, components that are not needed can be removed, drivers and patches can be added. In addition, some tweaks can already be applied and settings can be given that you intend to apply afterwards. The result is a shorter installation time and a smoother running Windows Vista. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Fixed:

  • Finish before ISO page was shown
  • Error Reporting removal breaking Compatibility Tab and MCE Reciever service
  • Merging CDs
  • Help was needed for IIS
  • KB932596 install failure
