Download Visual Studio Code 1.72.1

Visual Studio Code is an open source code editor with support for IntelliSense, debugging, Git and code snippets. Downloads are available for Windows, Linux and macOS. Support for common scripting and programming languages ​​is present and it can also be done via extensions to be expanded. Microsoft has released version 1.72.1 and it should fix the following security issues.

The 1.72.1 addresses these security issues:

• Normalize webview resources when checking roots
• Disallow command uris in notebooks
• Extension installed in web and remote with kind [‘ui’,’workspace’, ‘web’] show reload button
• Provide transitive closure of all dependencies used by vscode
