Yesterday a new version was released in the stable 1.6 branch of VirtualDub. This program is intended for recording and editing video, the so-called capture and processing. It doesn’t really have a good editor, but is more intended to be used in conjunction with programs such as Adobe Premiere. Among other things, this version fixes a problem that has existed for a long time and occurred on some Windows 98/Me machines. More information about this is on this page to find. • Fixed crash when creating batch jobs with certain Pinnacle video codecs.
• Fixed crash when reading top down BMP files.
• Added workaround for crash on startup on some Windows 98/ME machines.
