Version 1.0.91 of Ventoy has been released. Self-starting USB sticks can be created with this open source program. However, the way it does that is different from similar tools. The USB stick only needs to be prepared once and then as many ISO files can be placed on the stick as there is free space. Ventoy automatically creates a boot menu for the existing ISO files. Support is provided for both UEFI and legacy boot and it has been tested with 1120 different ISO files. The changelog for this release looks like this:

Changes in Ventoy 1.0.91:

  • Add support for FreeBSD 14-CURRENT.
  • Fix the issue for booting Bliss OS 15.x (#2329)
  • Fix a bug that Fedora boot error if Ventoy partition is NTFS. (#2333)
  • Add Recognition for NTFS with large cluster size (greater than 64KB).
  • Improve grub2 mode process for legacy BIOS mode.
  • languages.json update.
