Download Universal USB Installer 1.9.6.8
Version 1.9.6.8 of Universal USB Installer has been released. With this Windows program, the installation iso’s of a large number of Linux distributions can be placed on a USB stick. As a result, they no longer have to be burned to a CD or DVD first; the installation can be performed from the self-starting USB stick. Support is available for a wide range of distributions, from the most famous to some very obscure. A part of the USB stick can also be used as persistent memory are used so that changes and personal files can be saved, which is normally not possible with a live CD. Since version 1.9.6.4, the following changes have been made:

- Switch back to 7-Zip 9.20 to address “There are some data after the end of the payload data” 7-zip errors.

- Update to support Cyborg Linux.
- Upgrade to 7-Zip 16.02.
