Download UltraVNC 1.1.8

UltraVNC has been updated to version 1.1.8. This program allows you to connect to another computer. That computer can then be controlled as if you were sitting behind it, making it possible, for example, to solve problems remotely. UltraVNC, a branch of RealVNC, adds additional functionality, including chat and file transfer capabilities. In this release, support for Windows 8 has been added and the security of the password has been adjusted to prevent cracking via a brute force attack.

  Instead of using the password as part of the encryption, we now check the password inside the encryption by the server. This allows the server to blacklist servers after x fault passwords.
  WARNING: If using encryption plugin + vncpassword you better upgrade. No protection against brute force password hacking.
