Download UltraVNC 1.0.5.1
The developers behind Ultravnc have released an update for version 1.0.5, which was released at the end of August. Ultravnc allows you to connect to another computer. That computer can then be controlled as if you were sitting behind it, making it possible, for example, to solve problems remotely. Ultravnc is a branch of Realvnc, but adds extra functionality including chat and file transfer. The main change in the new version is full support for Windows Vista. Below are the issues addressed in version 1.0.5.1:
Changes in UltraVNC release 1.0.5.1:
- Fix bug where screen froze when file transfer or chat was open.
- Close the chat dialog before deleting TextChat object. Wait for thread to exit before returning from KillDialog()
- Fixed server crash in KillAllClients when chat window was open
- Suppress duplicate messages about lost communications.
- Suppress “File transfer completed” message if there’s an error so the error is seen in the history dropdown
