IDM Computer Solutions has its multifunctional text editor UltraEdit provided with an update to version 14.00a. The program can handle plain ascii text, but hex and html files are no problem either. Furthermore, it has features such as macros, vertical block selection, syntax highlighting, a built-in ftp client and spell checker in various languages. In version 14.00, among other things, the option to encrypt files has been added and you can choose during installation for what purpose the editor is going to be used, after which the program adapts itself accordingly. The following changes have also been made in version 14.00a:

• Background color in clipboard window
• No longer overwrites FTP accounts in user file
