Download Ultimate Boot CD 5.2.1

The developers behind Ultimate Boot CD have released version 5.2.1. Ultimate Boot CD is a large collection of open source and freeware programs intended for finding and solving mainly hardware problems. The complete list of tools is up this page to find. The iso becomes as bittorrent– or http-download offered and is 486MB in size. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changes in version 5.2.1:

• Removed unnecessary “APPEND -” from all entries.
• Updated CPUstress image to V2.1expl6, added help text and added a separate entry that launches it main menu.
• Removed /ubcd/boot/cpustress/bzImage, which is no longer used.
• Updated syslinux2grub4dos scripts to deal with absent “APPEND -” statements.
• Added F-Prot and ClamAV databases, which were missing from the 5.2.0 release.
