Download Ultimate Boot CD 5.0 ​​Beta 7

A new beta release of version 5.0 of the Ultimate Boot CD was released a few days ago. Ultimate Boot CD is a collection of a large number of open source and freeware programs intended for finding and solving mainly hardware problems. The beta is only offered as a torrent download and is 215MB in size. Here’s what’s changed in this seventh beta release:

Changes in UBCD 5.0b7 are:

• Fixed path to user defined menu.
• Removed /ubcd/tools/ubcd2iso/run.cmd.
• Removed /ubcd/boot/dban/boot.cat.
• Removed /ubcd/boot/dban.bak.
• Added noapic to all CPU stress entries.
• Changed ramdisk_size to 12000 for all cpustress entries.
• Added customized cmdhelpinfo for all cpustress entries.
• Remove CPU stress help entry.
• Added help, gpl-2.0.txt and README.txt to /ubcd/boot/cpustres.
• Updated ASTRA to V5.41.
• Set default mprime version to V24.
• Updated SGD to V0.9770.
• Updated Parted Magic to V3.3.
• Updated Parted Magic help text for XFProt.
