Cerulean Studios released a new version of Trillian for Mac OS X released. This multiplatform instant messaging program is primarily developed for Windows, but there are also versions for Mac OS X, iOS, Android and BlackBerry. In addition, there is a cross-platform version that runs in a web browser running. The changelog of this release shows the following changes and improvements:

New features:

• Add support for Pulsar (SiriusXM) for ‘Current Music’.
• Allow drag and drop of multiple files to be zipped and sent.
• Allow drag and drop or multiple image files.
• History is available from menus and via Command-Shift-H hotkey.
• Image messages now show up as status in conversation list.
• Input history (Command-Up/Down, Control-P/N).
• Support for buzz.
• Support for XMPP, AIM and Yahoo IM URLs.
• Support parsing multiple ft.trillian.im links per line.
• Trillian now requires an Intel processor and Snow Leopard or later.

• [Contact list] Crash when Group by Service is selected fixed.
• [Contact list] Fixed autohide jumping issue.
• [Contact list] Fix for auto-hide docking sometimes blocking Mission Control gestures under Lion.
• [Contact list] Performance improved when Group by Service is selected.
• [File Transfer] Some error states should be more clearly elaborated on file transfer failure now.
• [Message Window] Buzz messages now show up properly as status in conversation list.
• [Message Window] Disable automatic spelling correction in message windows by default.
• [Message Window] Performance fixes to avoid ‘stall’ in some situations.
• [Message Window] https links will highlight properly.
• [Notifications] Clicking on an alert no longer erroneously focuses contactlist.
• [Notifications] Use Growl to configure notifications when possible.
• [Notifications] Use built-in notifications when Growl isn’t installed.
