Download Trillian Astra 5.3 Build 12 Beta

A new beta release of Trillian Astra version 5.3 has been released. This instant messaging program allows chatting with users of a variety of instant messaging and social networks, including Windows Live, ICQ, Skype (text only), Twitter, and Facebook. Trillian Astra is available for Windows, OS X, iOS, Android and BlackBerry. In addition, there is a version that runs in a web browser and can therefore be used anywhere.

Cerulean Studios indicated when version 5.2 was released that it would now come up with new versions faster, which means that fewer new features are introduced per release. In version 5.3 we find improvements with regard to group conversations, among other things, and there is now also a plug-in that enables chat during games. Furthermore, the program handles SSL certificates better and several small improvements have been made to make the program work better in Windows 8. Build 12, on the other hand, only contains bug fixes.
