Cerulean Studios has released a new beta release of version 4.2 of the instant messaging program Trillian Astra. Trillian Astra allows chatting with users of many instant messaging and social networks, including Windows Live, ICQ, Skype (text only), Twitter and Facebook. At the moment Trillian Astra is available for Windows and Mac OS X, there is an app for the iPhone and there is a version that runs in a web browser. Since the first public beta of version 4.2, two successors have appeared, both of which fix a laundry list of problems:
