Jam Software has released an update for the version 5.3.0 build 563 of Treesize Professional, which was released a few days ago. This program provides useful overviews of what is on the hard disk. For example, you can see how large the files are, how much space they take up, when they were last accessed, who owns them and what the ntfs compression ratio is. This can be displayed in a 3D or pie-shaped graph for single files or a folder as well as for entire partitions or hard disks. The software is available in Personal and Professional flavors, with the former not being able to run on servers, not being able to handle network drives and also having fewer export options. Changes in version 5.3.1:

• Bugfix: The regular check for update could crash TreeSize Professional on application start.
• Bugfix: After using “File > Compare With XML Report”, folders could appear multiple times in the directory tree.
