Download Total Commander 8.00 Beta 17a
Last Friday, the 17th beta release of Total Commander version 8.0 was released. This included the possibility to add items to submenus of the directory hotlist, among other things. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an annoying problem that under certain circumstances could cause you to lose the entire directory hotlist. Christian Ghisler has therefore quickly released a successor that remedies this shortcoming.
What’s new?
Directory hotlist (Ctrl+D): Fixed critical error in function “add a new entry directly to a submenu” which could cause the loss of menu items. Please don’t use beta 17 any more!
Total Commander 8.0 is the first version available in both 32-bit and 64-bit. Currently there aren’t many 64-bit plugins yet – I will publish them when they become available. Therefore you should keep the 32-bit version for the moment if you use plugins regularly.
A list of additions and corrections, also for previous versions, can be found in the history file.
As usual, the update is free for all registered users.
