Download TortoiseSVN 1.6.16

TortoiseSVN has been updated to version 1.6.16. This program is a user interface for Subversion, which is used by developers for version control. It is almost indispensable when working on a project with different people. TortoiseSVN integrates itself as a shell extension into Windows and can be used on its own or in combination with an ide. Version 1.6.16 of TortoiseSVN ships with Subversion 1.6.17. If a version older than 1.6.16 is present on the system, the setup must be done twice and the second time for ‘repair’ being chosen. This is a bugfix release/maintenance release, linked with Subversion 1.6.17.

Subversion 1.6.17 also contains a few security related fixes:

• CVE-2011-1752
• CVE-2011-1783
• CVE-2011-1921

Note: these vulnerabilities only refer to Subversion servers, not clients. Which means TortoiseSVN is not affected by those.
