Download TortoiseSVN 1.5.9

The developers behind TortoiseSVN released version 1.5.9 of their program last Friday. TortoiseSVN is an open source Subversion client, intended to perform version control. Version control is especially useful, if not indispensable, when working on a project with multiple developers. The program integrates itself as a shell extension into Windows and can be used on its own or in combination with an ide. Version 1.5.9 of TortoiseSVN ships with Subversion 1.5.6 and contains no new features. It does contain some bug fixes and this version has been labeled ‘maintenance release’. Bugs fixed in version 1.5.9:

• Broken registry settings may prevent Check for Modifications dialog from showing up.
• Missing columns when copying to clipboard in Check for Modifications dialog.
• Showing Log for deleted paths should not trigger “go offline? dialog.
• Line endings lost in TortoiseMerge when using “use whole file”.
