Threema is a messaging app for Android, iOS and Windows Phone with a focus on security. For example, it provides end-to-end encryption and generates as little metadata as possible. It is also a Swiss company, which means that the Swiss regulations are in force. The differences from other messaging apps are on this page explained. Threema Web is a secure web client, so you can also access your communications from your desktop. You can do this by scanning a QR code through the Threema mobile app. The communication expires via a secure connection to WebRTC, SaltyRTC and NaCl. Version 2.3.4 of the web client has been released, with the following changes:
