The more than twenty-year-old email client The Bat! of the Moldovan company Ritlabs is slowly gaining ground. The new director, Stefan Tanurkov, who had previously been eliminated in a power struggle with his old partner Maxim Masiutin, is fully committed to modernizing his brainchild.
In the latest versions, Chromium’s HTML rendering engine replaces the outdated internal and Internet Explorer engines. The most striking new feature in the latest version is the dark mode. The program has also undergone minor interface changes and really looks much fresher than before. The changelog for this release looks like this:
