Microsoft has released a new version of the Sysinternals Suite. This package is a collection of useful tools for managing systems and obtaining comprehensive information about the computer. In this way, all kinds of problems can be detected and solved.

The individual tools are being developed by Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell, initially for Sysinternals and now for Microsoft. Some examples are Process Explorer, Bginfo, contig and disk mon. In total it concerns a collection of 70 different tools. By the way, the latest versions of the individual programs can also be here are being found. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following parts of the Suite have been updated:

Autoruns v11.61:
Autoruns is a utility for managing autostarting applications, DLLs and services. This update adds more autostart locations, fixes a bug that could cause a crash when Autorunsc is directed to calculate file hashes, and fixes a bug in Autoruns’ jump-to-image functionality on 64-bit Windows.

String v2.52:
This release fixes a bug that prevented the previous one from running on Windows XP.

Zoomit v4.5:
Zoomit is a screen zooming and annotation tool for technical presentations. This release introduces better support for zooming in on Windows 8 Windows Store applications.
