Download Sysinternals Suite 2010-06-23
Microsoft released a new version of the Sysinternals Suite on Tuesday. This package is a collection of useful tools for managing systems and obtaining comprehensive information about the computer. In this way, all kinds of problems can be detected and solved. The individual tools are being developed by Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell, initially for Sysinternals and now for Microsoft. Some examples are Process Explorer† Bginfo† contig and disk mon† In total it concerns a collection of 66 different tools† Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following components in the Suite have been updated:
RAMMap v1.1:
This update to RAMMap, a memory analysis utility for Windows Vista and Windows 7, adds the ability to purge working sets and memory manager paging lists. This can be useful for measuring the memory usage of applications after they’ve started or when specific features are exercised.
ADExplorer v1.40:
ADExplorer, an Active Directory editor, now shows all of a directories naming contexts and works with Lightweight Directory Services directories.
Autologon v3.0:
Autologon, a utility that makes it easy to configure the system to automatically logon a specified account, now works on 64-bit versions of Windows.
Autoruns v10.01:
This fixes a bug in the Registry jump-to function for HKCU registry paths.
