2Brightsparks has released a new version of SyncBackFree. This program is the simplest and therefore also the free version of the backup software that this company has to offer. In addition to making backups, SyncBackFree can synchronize data. This can be to a location on the same or another disk, or to another medium, such as a CD-RW or USB stick, or to an FTP server or zip archive. In addition to this free version, there are also SyncBackSE and SyncBackProwhich for 29 and 46 euros respectively additional functionality offer. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• Base folder not deleted if option to automatically create them is not enabled
• All executables are now dual signed (SHA-1 and SHA-256)

• Weird crash related to inter process communication
• Skipping files in root of base folder if base folder is a junction point and file and folder selections have been made
