Version 6.0 of SuperAntiSpyware has been released. According to the creators, this program protects against more than a million threats on the Internet, including spyware, of course, but also trojans, worms and rootkits. Furthermore, it is able to remove programs that claim to protect against viruses and malware, but are in fact wolves in sheep’s clothing, the so-called rogue programs. In addition to the free version, there is also a paid variant, which includes real-time protection, automatic updates, and the ability to schedule scans. In version 6.0 we find, among other things, a completely new interface, the program uses less memory, scanning is faster and the result of a scan can now be sent by e-mail.

• System Investigator – Shows what’s running on your PC in a new and exciting way. Customers and technicians can use this tool to quickly determine if a file on the system is potentially malware.
• Faster scan speeds, narrower foot print, enhanced program stability and an expanded Help Menu to improve ease of use.
• Email alerts – Receive scheduled scan results through the new email alert system.
• High-contrast color theme – An easy-to-read (visually impaired friendly) black color theme can be configured by those who prefer using a high-contrast mode.
• Right-click scanning – Right-click scanning now works without SUPERAntiSpyware running, and the right-click menu options have been cleaned up to minimize clutter.
