Download Sun Java 5.0 Update 2
Sun has released a second update to its Java 2 Standard Edition packages, both for the Development Kit and the Runtime Environment. The version designation has been fixed at 5.0 update 2 and the exact version number has been moved to 1.5.0_02-b09. Java Web Start lazy download change (bug fix 6188839)
In 5.0u1, a change was made to Java Web Start to fix lazy downloading for jar files with part attributes when there exists a package element for that part. As a result, lazy parts for which package elements are defined will only be downloaded if a resource in one of the listed packages is accessed.
