Download Subsonic 5.0

The final release of Subsonic version 5.0 has been released. Subsonic is an open source and cross-platform media streamer, which can stream music and videos both inside and outside its own home network and to several users at the same time. The media can be accessed via a web browser on the computer and there are also apps for Android, iOS and Windows Phone, among others. The following changes have been made since beta 2:

Subsonic 5.0:

• Use UTF-8 encoding for filenames in ZIP archives. (Requires Java 7+)
• Fixed problem with unresponsive dialogs in web interface.
• Use 2000 kbps as default video bitrate.
• Sort playlists alphabetically.
• Fixed some sorting issues (eg, for same artist found in multiple media folders).
• Make password recovery work with https.
