Download Startup Delayer 2.3 build 134
One of the reasons Windows starts up slowly is because too many programs and processes start at the same time. Some of these could be started a little later, such as an e-mail program and quick launchers for e.g. Openoffice.org, Adobe Reader etc. R2 Studios has developed a program, with the significant name Startup Delayer, which allows the sequence of the programs to be started a waiting period can be given. In this way it is possible to access the desktop more quickly while less important programs are still loaded in the background. Yesterday version 2.3 build 134 of Startup Delayer was released and its changelog looks like this:
Changes in Startup Delayer version 2.3 build 134
- Made the uninstall routine automatically restore all delayed applications back to their previous location. (Wasn’t working on all systems)
- Fixed a bug when pressing the Skip button in the GUI Launcher while waiting for an application that was marked to pause until it was closed
- Fixed the Run-time error ’91’: Object variable or With block variable not set error when you use the GUI version of the Launcher on a profile that’s never run Startup Delayer
- Fixed the Run-time error ‘5’ if you reset the GUI position twice, or if it didn’t exist in the first place
