After Microsoft in Windows 8 quit the classic start menu, several free and paid tools appeared to add this. StartIsBack is an example of this and falls into the last category. It adds a start button and a start menu to Windows 8 and 10, which work the way it was in Windows 7 and earlier. Both the appearance and the functionality can be adjusted entirely to your personal taste. The version with a plus at the end is for Windows 8.1. The version without plus is suitable for Windows 8. If the program has a double plus at the end, it can be used on Windows 10. A license for the program costs three, five or ten dollars and may be used on one, two or five computers. Several unnamed improvements have been made in this publication.
