Download SpeedFan 4.24 beta 18
SpeedFan is able to display temperatures, voltages, the rotational speed of fans and SMART information of a hard drive. The program also makes it possible to adjust the speeds of the coolers, if the motherboard supports this. In addition, these temperatures, voltages and fan speeds can be displayed in the graph. SpeedFan’s Beta Program released a new beta version of the 4.24 series yesterday. In this test version a number of motherboards have been added to the list of supported boards. In addition, Abit uGuru fully supported. Beta 18 is on this page download and comes with the following release notes:
Big news! This latest beta adds support for Abit uGuru. In order to run this beta, simply replace the EXE from version 4.23 and then run SpeedFan. This version adds full temperature, voltages and fan speeds monitoring. I’m trying to figure out how different versions of each motherboard should be handled, if they all use the same circuitry to monitor voltages and temperatures and I’m slowly testing for additional features, like fan control.
SpeedFan 4.24 beta 18 adds support for more motherboard models and, since everything seems to be working fine, now there is no need for any special command line switch to enabled uGuru support. As always, there are several other minor fixes.[break]
