Download Songbird for Android 2.1
Version 2.1.0 of Songbird for Android has been released. This music player is based on Gecko and is also available for Windows and Mac OS X. In addition, there are also versions for Linux and Solaris, but they are not officially supported yet. Songbird is being developed by Poti, short for ‘Pioneers of the Inevitable’. This group includes developers who were involved with Winamp and Yahoo Music Engine, among others. More information about the possibilities of this program is on this page to find back. New Features for Android!
Hey everyone! We are really excited to tell you about the new Songbird 2.1 release for Android. With this release, you’re going to see some great new features.
- Each artist now has their own individual feed, instead of just one feed for everyone. This means you’ll have a lot more content to check out directly from your favorite artists.
- When you are playing a song, you can now check out that artist’s feed directly from playback! Your music-listening experience can be amplified by artist content without interruption.
- You can now comment within Facebook on the artists your friends are following, to keep the conversation going.
- And finally, when you load Songbird.me for the first time, we autofollow your favorites from within your Android library, so you start getting great artist content immediately. Enjoy!
