Download Songbird 1.9.3
Version 1.9.3 of Songbird has been released. This open source music player is based on Gecko and is available for Windows and Mac OS X. There are also versions for Linux and Solaris, but they are not officially supported yet. Songbird is being developed by Poti, short for ‘Pioneers of the Inevitable’. This group includes developers who were involved with Winamp and Yahoo Music Engine, among others. More information about the possibilities of this program is on this page to find back. Below is an overview of the most important changes and improvements that have been made to the Meuktracker since the previous entry:
Changes in Songbird version 1.9.3 (build 1959):
- An always-available, on-the-fly playlist queuing feature
- 7digital music store addon redesign
- Performance improvements
- Faster search and filtering
- Quicker metadata editing when changing several files simultaneously
Changes in Songbird version 1.9.2 (build 1953):
- Support for the Philips RaGa G3, ViBE G3, and Ariaz G3 devices.
- A fix for a crash that sometimes occurred while playing AAC files.
