Download SoftPerfect Network Scanner 6.0.6

SoftPerfect has released version 6.0.6 of Network Scanner. This program is a simple ip, netbios and snmp scanner. It does not need to be installed to do its job, so it can be used quickly and easily to see who and what is connected to the network. The program is multithreaded and can see network shares, mac addresses, open ports and logged in users, among other things. The download is less than three megabytes in size and the program is completely free to use. Since version 6.0.4, the following changes and improvements have been made:

Changes in version 6.0.6

• Added menu items for nested bookmarks to apply bookmarks as a group.
• Added showing the contents of a regex capture group rather than a match itself.
• Added basic HTTP authentication support for Remote XML to access protected devices.
• Fixed stripping control characters that could leak into columns. Improved saving columns.

Changes in version 6.0.5

• Fixed crash on systems not supporting IPv6 where IPv6 related options were enabled.
• Fixed crash when launched from a task scheduler with no visible desktop and taskbar.
• Fixed an issue with MAC-based friendly names during rescanning and adding new names.
