Download SoftPerfect Network Scanner 5.4.8

Network Scanner version 5.4.8 can be obtained from SoftPerfect. This program is a simple ip, netbios and snmp scanner. It does not need to be installed to do its job, so it can be used quickly and easily to see who and what is connected to the network. The program is multithreaded and can see network shares, mac addresses, open ports and logged in users, among other things. The download is less than two megabytes in size and the program is completely free to use. Since version 5.3, the download contains separate versions for 32bit and 64bit environments. Since version 5.4.6 at least the following changes and improvements have been made:

Changes in version 5.4.7:

• Added creating subnet specific broadcast IP address when adding a device to WOL list from scan result.
• Added showing configurable parameters used for MAC address lookup.
• Added a list of ports to grab HTTP banners from.
• Added custom text color and background color for individual columns (right-click a column header).
