Download SoftPerfect Network Scanner 5.2.0

SoftPerfect has released version 5.2 of Network Scanner. This program is a simple ip, netbios and snmp scanner. It does not need to be installed to do its job, so it can be used quickly and easily to see who and what is connected to the network. The program is multithreaded and can see network shares, mac addresses, open ports and logged in users, among other things. The download is less than a megabyte and the program is completely free to use. The following changes have been made in this release:

Changes in version 5.2:

• Improved File – Import IP Address List command. It now understands IP address ranges and address/mask notations.
• Fixed failure to load a configuration file passed via command line if any other additional switch was present.
• Not using user name and password when sending a WMI query to the local host.
• Added UDP port scan for network time protocol (NTP) listeners.
• Added Universal Plug and Play device discovery that detects UPnP compatible devices in your network.
