Download SoftPerfect Network Scanner 5.1

SoftPerfect released version 5.1 of Network Scanner at the end of December. This program is a simple ip, NetBIOS and snmp scanner. It does not need to be installed to do its job, so it can be used quickly and easily to see who and what is connected to the network. The program is multithreaded and can see network shares, mac addresses, open ports and logged in users, among other things. The download is less than a megabyte and the program is completely free to use. The following changes have been made in this release:

Changes in version 5.1:

• Shared resources are no longer automatically exported unless specified explicitly with the /cols switch.
• Added auto-open the most recent file option.
• When launching a third-party application bring up the elevation prompt where necessary.
• Added noncontiguous IP address range scan mode (see help for details).
• Added monitor vendor, model and serial number retrieval.
