Download SoftPerfect Network Scanner 5.1.1

SoftPerfect has released version 5.1.1 of Network Scanner. This program is a simple ip, NetBIOS and snmp scanner. It does not need to be installed to do its job, so it can be used quickly and easily to see who and what is connected to the network. The program is multithreaded and can see network shares, mac addresses, open ports and logged in users, among other things. The download is less than a megabyte and the program is completely free to use. The following changes have been made in this release:

Changes in version 5.1.1:

• Now using a different method to obtain a list of authorized DHCP servers from AD. This should eliminate an obscure crash when doing DHCP discovery.
• Showing a list of all AD-authorized DHCP servers under replied DHCP servers.
• Added support for multiple communities within a single SNMP query.
• Added an option to display replied community when for a SNMP query.
• Added a few more default WMI queries to retrieve system part number, model name, serial number and asset tag.
• Filter now applies to off-line devices as well (previously applied to on-line devices only).
