Download SmartFTP 5.0 build 1345

Smartsoft has released an update to version 5.0 of its ftp client SmartFTP. SmartFTP is a very extensive ftp client. It includes support for secure connections via tls and ssl, server-to-server communication via fxp, error checking via xcrc, and various nat and upnp environments. The program is available in the flavors Home, Professional and Ultimate. Version 5.0 adds support for Windows 8.1, LastPass, and high-resolution screens, among other things. Since build 1342, the following adjustments have also been made:

• WebDAV: HTTPS protocol information is now written to the log.
• Fix: Regression: Unable to set last modified time on IIS FTP server.
• Find&Replace: Improved usability
• FTP/SFTP: Symbolic links are now always resolved
• SFTP: Improved logging for SetStat function

• Fix: Regression: Pre-Windows Vista: Favorites Manager: New folder was broken
• Fix: Regression: Edit With… with Visual Studio did not work as expected.
• WebDAV: Improved error handling

• Fix: Regression: Disabled application compat check due to false positives caused by 3rd party dlls that get injected into the SmartFTP process.
