Download SmartFTP 4.0 build 1217

Smartsoft has released version 4.0 build 1217 of its ftp client SmartFTP. SmartFTP is a very extensive ftp client. It includes support for secure connections via tls and ssl, server-to-server communication via fxp, error checking via xcrc, and various nat and upnp environments. The program is available in home and professional flavours. The latter offers as extras including secure-ftp, file encryption and the ability to use scripts. Changes in vrsion 4.0 build 1217:

• Fix: Local Browser: Missing menu icons for certain shell extension context menu handlers
• Editor: Added auto save
• FTP: Added fail-over for servers announcing MLSD but not supporting it (mostly proxies)
• Technical Support can now requested directly from inside the application: menu: Help – Request Technical Support

Changes in vrsion 4.0 build 1216

• Fix: Local Browser: Missing menu icons for certain shell extension context menu handlers.
• Preview: Windows 7: Added animation during progress
• Remote Browser: No longer resolving UNC/network paths in MRU (Most Recently Used) list in Download To… context menu
• Updated French translation
