Download SmartFTP 4.0 build 1092

Smartsoft released version 4.0 build 1092 of its ftp client SmartFTP this weekend. SmartFTP is a very extensive ftp client and includes support for secure connections via tls and ssl, server-to-server communication via fxp, error checking via xcrc and various nat and upnp environments. The program is available in the flavors home and professional. The latter offers as extras including secure-ftp, file encryption and the ability to use scripts. Below you can find everything that has changed in the program since the previous entry in Meuktracker:

Changes in version 4.0 build 1092:

• Editor: Added word wrap button to toolbar.
• Fix: Remote Browser: Refresh did not always update the view.
• SSH: Added support for openssh’s custom keep alive mechanism.
• FTP: Added support for CleverComponents Inet Suite
• Fix: SSH: Issue when remote window size became 0

Changes in version 4.0 build 1091:

• Favorites: Split up FTP->Connection->SSL/TLS dialog. Moved connection specific settings to new Connection->SSL/TLS dialog.
• Terminal: Added support for Telnet and Telnet over SSL protocols
• Fix: Remote Browser: Bug when default double click action was set to View
• Fix: Remote Browser: Prompt for Passphrase dialog did not show
• Fix: Remote Browser: Windows XP: Sync navigation option in the favorites properties did not work.

Changes in version 4.0 build 1090:

• Fix: Editor: Codepage detection did not work
• Transfer Queue: The transfer log is now attached to the notification email instead of the full log file
