Download SlimBrowser 5.00 build 139

FlashPeak has released version 5.00 build 139 of SlimBrowser. This web browser uses Internet Explorer’s internal engine to build the web pages and adds some useful features such as a pop-up blocker, tabbed browsing, an RSS reader, and a quick-search bar. In addition, the functionality can be expanded as desired by means of plug-ins. In version 5.00 we find, among other things, an improved download manager, it is possible to translate pages or parts of it into any language without having to leave the page and the ad blocker has been improved. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following improvements have been made:

Changes in build 139:

• Bug fix: ctrl+f to find text in current page not working if the page is not in focus
• Added “Deals Hunter” toolbar to help online shopping lovers find the best deals on internet. Activate the toolbar from menu View:Toolbars:XML Toolbars:Deals Hunter.

Changes in build 137:

• Favorites folder will be created automatically if not exists.
• Bug fix: crash sound at exit in some special cases.
• Bug fix: crash due to wininet hooking code.
• Added menu “Open selected text as URL” into in-page shortcuts menu.
