Download SlimBrowser 5.00 build 135

FlashPeak has released version 5.00 build 135 of SlimBrowser. This web browser uses Internet Explorer’s internal engine to build the web pages and adds some useful features such as a pop-up blocker, tabbed browsing, an RSS reader, and a quick-search bar. In addition, the functionality can be expanded as desired by means of plug-ins. In version 5.00 we find, among other things, an improved download manager, it is possible to translate pages or parts of it into any language without having to leave the page and the ad blocker has been improved. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following improvements have been made:

Changes in SlimBrowser version 5.00 build 135:

• Fixed browser drawing flickering issue on resize
• Added option to remember last download save folder. Also keep a history of previously used download folders in the drop down box.
• Add menu Window->Tile Selected windows
• Bug fix: flash video not playing properly due to cache issue.
• Bug fix: “view source” not working properly for web page not allowing cache.
• Bug fix: Open In New Tab menu missing on windows XP if the link text is selected before right clicking.
• Bug fix: javascript link stopping existing navigation action incorrectly.

Changes in SlimBrowser version 5.00 build 99:

• Added option in tools:search to change default engine on quicksearch bar.
• Bug fix: multi-line startup commands were not saved correctly
• Added hotkey to hide browser.
• Grouped additional context menu items under In-Page shortcuts
• Added menu function File->Close tabs on the right.
• Highlight downloaded file when opening folder from download manager.
