Skype has released a new beta release of its eponymous voip client for Windows. With Skype for Windows it is possible to communicate with other Skype users by means of text, speech, image or a combination thereof. It is also possible to send each other files and play a game. In addition, calls can also be made to fixed and mobile telephones for a small fee. The download is just under 21MB in size, but if you prefer something smaller, you can check out the MSFN forum to look. Shortly after an official release, a stripped-down version of about 13 MB can be found here. The changelog for this release shows the following changes and improvements:
